General Meeting Address
9-20-25
My name is Donna Rhodes-Brown, President of the SCG Republican Club.
Anyone remember the death of Princess Diana? You remember where you were, right? And the millions of people worldwide that honored her. Charlie Kirk is much the same. I will try my best today to honor Charlie and his movement, as President Trump calls him the great and legendary Charlie Kirk So you know, I have worked for the last week to accumulate the information to do this message and nine hours to write it. So no AI here. klHere we go…
September 10thstarted out to be a good day. My parent’s anniversary is the 10th. So Dan and I always have a cheer, a toast to them. IHO. In Honor of them. Then, at 12:22 pm Arizona time, I got a gut punch! We all got a gut punch!
I could not believe when I heard Grant Stinchfield say Charlie Kirk had been shot and killed. A Conservative leader, mentor, friend, a Christian, husband and father, patriot and fighter, a Joyful Warrior!
God called Charlie home!
I am a religious person, so I immediately asked, why God? You could have saved him. Why God? Give me a sign there is a reason for this. I keep palm leaf crosses in my house over my bedroom door. As I asked this very question, that very palm cross fell on my head. I had my answer. God will lead us to the answer. Have faith.
The last time a political assassination occurred was in Dallas and the grassy knoll. November 22, 1963. Sixty two years ago, President Kennedy was assassinated.
The nation was devastated and heartbroken then and now! The Devil always goes after the Warriors. On September 10th, Charlie became a modern day Christian martyr. They want to silence conservatives and many, many more who disagree with them..
And we all know, the future, tomorrow in not guaranteed to anyone.
Charlie died doing what he loved: fighting for the truth, for family and for America.
He had a vision at 18 years old in his parent’s garage. I remember watching Charlie and Candace 13 years ago on campus events with maybe a hundred interested participants which has now grown into one of the most powerful grassroots movements in America.
I cannot stop thinking about his kids and the thought that they no longer have their father to grow up with and to give them a hug and guidance. BUT…on Friday, the 12th, we saw Charlie’s widow have had the courage to speak and to offer comfort.
“The evil doers responsible for my husband’s assassination have no idea what they have done. They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith and of God’s merciful love. They should all know that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea!”
You have no idea of what you have just unleased across the entire country and this world. You have no idea! You have no idea of the fire that you have ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry!”
In 2001, Donald Trump tells us: “In America, we take blows, but we never buckle. We bleed, but we do not bow. And we defy the fear, endure the flames and emerge from the crucible of every hardship. Stronger, prouder and greater than ever before.”
Have any of you heard what Bernie Sanders said recently? He spoke the truth about the political assassination of Charlie Kirk:
“Political violence, in fact, is political cowardice. It means you cannot convince people of the correctness of your ideas, and you have to impose them by force.
THAT’S IT!
That’s the Truth.
And it came from NOT a Republican, not from Fox News, Not from a conservative leader- but Bernie himself.
At a moment when too many Democrats are doing verbal gymnastics to downplay what happened – some even suggesting Charlie “brought it on himself” because of his message – Bernie refused to take that coward’s way out. He didn’t excuse it. He didn’t shift blame. He called it what it is: cowardice.
And let’s be honest: Bernie’s courage in this moment only throws into sharper relief the shameful behavior of his colleagues.
While he told the truth, Democrats in Congress protested the moment of silence for Charlie. Imagine that!
A father and a husband gunned down in front of students, and instead of honoring his life with thirty seconds of silence, they turned their protest inward.
That’s not compassion.
That’s not leadership.
That’s petty politics at its ugliest.
Across cable news and social media, left-wing pundits laughed, joked, and even celebrated Charlie’s death.
One by one, some are now losing their jobs. And they should. Because if you are so broken by hatred that you cheer the murder of an American citizen for speaking their mind, you don’t deserve the privilege of a national platform.
This is why Bernie‘s words matter so much. He didn’t just call violence wrong; he exposed it for what it is: proof of weakness.
Proof that if you can’t win on ideas. Proof that you’d rather silence your opponents than out argue them.
That’s the irony: the assassin’s bullet is the ultimate confession of intellectual defeat.
Its sad day when one of the loudest voices of reason in the Democratic Party comes from Bernie, but that makes his statement more important. Political violence is cowardice. Political violence is failure. Political violence is un-American!
Thank you, Bernie, for at least this moment of honesty.
America’s heart is still beating strong; he’s doing what they say couldn’t be done, giving this country back. He is putting America first, where she belongs! Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Trump came down the escalator? Remember that? (PAUSE)
James O’Keefe, “Charlie Kirk’s death is the seed that will finally allow this concept to take root.
There will be people who want to stand up and want to stand down. You can either take the message and crawl into a corner and shut up, or do what Charlie wanted you to do and speak louder The future of this nation will be determined by the choice you make.
There are those who deny the reality of evil itself. But in fact, Charlie now belongs in the hearts of every single American fighting against those who are undermining the country.
The future of this nation and our own survival will depend on the choices we make.
God was using Charlie to wake this generation up and despite the assassin’s bullet to his throat, God will continue to use his voice. A million more Charlies will be born.
Steve Bannon often says, “This is A War. Someone’s going to win and someone’s going to lose!
Charlie’s words:
Take one out, 100 will stand up, take 100 out, thousands will stand up
Take 1000 out, 100K will stand up! Take 100k out, the money will flow!
And indeed that is happening! TPUSA, the organization, has received over 32K inquiries to start new campus chapters. So by the numbers:
In 48 hours
783 fired for cheering Charlie’s death
900 College TPUSA Chapters
3500 Total TPUSA Chapters
12K TPUSA High School Chapters
Dreamt of 23K High School Chapters
32K Chapters in High Schools
His vision: To have a Club America in every High School in America this will now come truer, faster.
Ken Blackwell had a great response on social media: To the man who murdered Charlie Kirk:
You may think you struck a blow against a man you disagreed with.
You may think your cowardly act somehow silenced him.
But let me make this very clear. YOU FAILED!:
You failed because truth does not die with a bullet. Principles do not bleed out on the street.
And a movement built on conviction is not so fragile that one violent act can scatter it.
You proved something you never intended to prove, that Charlie’s words were more powerful. Enough to terrify you.
You feared him, not because he carried a weapon, but because he carried ideas that cut deeper than any weapon you could wield.
You feared the light he carried because it exposed the darkness you live in.
You feared the light he carried because it exposed the darkness you live in.
You thought you could erase his influence, instead, you underlined it.
You thought you could end his mission, instead, you multiplied it.
You thought you could make us afraid, instead you made us stronger.
History is filled with cowards who hid behind the violence when they could not win with reason. Every tyrant who jailed a dissenter, every fanatic, who silences a prophet, every assassin who tried to erase a leader…they all shared the same delusion: killing a Messenger kills the message.
Time has proven them wrong.
And time will prove you wrong too.
Because Charlie’s fight is not just his---it’s ours.
And now it burns brighter than ever.
His family, his friends, his countless supporters across the country—we carry his torch.
You cannot put it out.
You cannot stop what has already taken root in the hearts of millions.
You wanted to silence a man. Instead, you gave voice to a generation.
You wanted to stop a movement. Instead, you set it on fire.
You wanted to strike fear. Instead you revealed your own.
We are not afraid of you.
We are not backing down. We are not surrendering our beliefs, our principles, or our courage.
So remember this: when you hid in the shadows and pulled the trigger, you did not prove strength---you proved WEAKNESS.
You did NOT end a MISSION! You gave it a new beginning.
And you did not stop Charlie Kirk…you made sure his message will echo far louder than it has before.
Charlie’s fight is our fight.
His cause is our cause. “
Friends, the Barbarians are at the Gate!
We go through something for all of this. And that something is God. And it’s not easy! This is the TURNING POINT. Said by his friend Donald J Trump
We must follow Charlie‘s example
So today, we honor Charlie’s life and his mission! He was David slaying Goliath and they murdered him for it.
“When things are moving very fast and people are losing their minds, it’s important to stay grounded. Turn off your phone, read scripture, spend time with friends and remember internet fury is not real life. It’s going to be OK.” Charlie Kirk June 17th on X.
Charlie’s advice was always clear and unapologetic: marry young, have more children than you think you can afford, and live a joyful Christian life rooted in faith.
In John 12:24, the Bible tells us “Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.”
Charlie’s warmth, leadership, and sense of humor will be missed by me and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Good men die, but their words live on!
So, raise your glasses or coffee cups. Cheers Charlie! Rest in Peace!
Your legacy lives on and will never die. Your movement will grow beyond your expectations. They have wakened a sleeping giant!
His life as a Christian martyr has just begun! He touched a nation and the world.
Rest in Peace Charlie.,.. WE HAVE THE WATCH!
God bless Charlie and his family! God Bless President Trump! God bless Arizona! God bless America!

Are you happy with President Trumps’ first 100 days?( Lets recap!)
President Trump said “It’s a Revolution of Common Sense”
This is a Presidential Milestone: Americas heart is still beating strong, he doing what they say couldn’t be done, giving this country back. He is putting America first, where she belongs! (right?)
As Donald Trump commenced this second term, the initial days were characterized by significant achievements and pivotal moments that shaped the trajectory of his presidency. This is a testament to his agenda, focusing on economic revitalization, international and domestic reform. Sweeping changes and bold executive actions, his administration issued a record-breaking number of executive orders passing previous presidents. These directives, targeted immigration reform, federal spending cuts, and dismantling of diversity equity and inclusion programs across government agencies. Trump’s policies also included imposing tariffs on foreign nations, which led to economic fluctuations. One of the most notable accomplishments was a significant reduction in migrant crossings at the US southern border, reaching the lowest levels in 25 years. (ill circle back on that) Additionally, his administration reinstated service members dismissed by refusing COVID-19 vaccines and halted federal funding for gender, affirming care for minors. All these actions sparked both support and controversy reflecting the polarized reception of his presidency. Ugh MSM!
Trumps approach to governance emphasized executive authority, and non-interventionist foreign policy. While the administration faced legal challenges and mixed reactions from both parties is first 100 days undeniably, reshaped the political and social landscape of the United States.
Economic Policy & Trade
• Executive order Day 1 to deliver price relief
• Implemented tariffs on Steel & Aluminum
• Eliminated Biden Electric Vehicle mandate! Happy about that!
• Crude oil prices have fallen
Executive Actions
• Revoked 79 Biden-era executive actions
• Initiated withdrawal from W.H.O. & Paris Climate Accords
• Designated drug cartel as foreign terrorists
D.O.G.E
• Established DOGE
• Froze new Federal Regulations and hiring
• Cancelled DEI related contracts
• Target agencies like USAID & DOE for elimination
Most notable are the border accomplishments:
Declared a national border emergency, allowing DOD to deploy the national guard and active duty military to secure the southern border. Ended catch and lease, ensuring detained illegal aliens wont be released back onto our streets.
Reestablished remain in Mexico and restored the construction of the border wall, preventing illegal aliens from entering the US in the first place.
Signed the Lakin Riley Act into law, ensuring ice will detain illegals arrested or charged with theft or violence. Encounters declined by 93%
There are also domestic reforms, healthcare initiatives, environmental policies, and many more to mention that time wont allow.
The first 100 days of Trump‘s presidency for a period of intense, political activity and public scrutiny, his administration’s actions elicited strong reactions for both supporters and detractors, highlighting the polarized nature of contemporary American policies, marked by a whirlwind of executive actions and policy shifts. His administration issued over 129 executive orders, along side proclamations and memorandums. While his legislative accomplishments were celebrated by his base, opposition groups mobilized to challenge and critique his policies, setting the stage for ongoing group’s battles. Personally, I feel this is the best of times, and the worst of times because of all the political battles, they are trying to thwart President Trump‘s agenda, even though the Supreme Court may rule in our favor. This is delaying what we the people voted for in his mandate. We won the battle, but not the war. Every single day We still need to stand up and DO WHAT? fight, fight, fight for the country our citizens believe in and for the country our people deserve. God bless President Trump! God bless Arizona! God bless America!
By now, you must have heard that the President underwent his annual medical exam. In case you missed it, his doctor, Captain Sean Barbabella, says and I quote, “the oldest man to be elected President is “fully fit” to serve as commander in chief. He is in excellent cognitive and physical health.” Per Larry Kudlow, Mr. Trump has a good heart, good health, a good soul and good cognitive test results! It’s all good news!
Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, a high Holy Day that is observed throughout the land. While there are many topics to choose from I thought it would be appropriate to mention Holy Week, Easter and Trump’s Holy Week 2025 message. I will reiterate his full statement as I believe it is worth hearing.
“This Holy Week, we join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity.
Beginning with Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and culminating in the Paschal Triduum, which begins on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Good Friday and reaching its pinnacle in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night. This week is a time of reflection for Christians to memorialize Jesus’ crucifixion – and to prepare their hearts, minds and souls for His miraculous Resurrection from the dead.
During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross. In His final hours on Earth, Christ willingly endured excruciating pain, torture, and execution on the cross out of a deep and abiding love for all His creation. Through His suffering, we have redemption. Through His death, we are forgiven of our sins. Through His resurrection, we have hope of eternal life. On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty and light prevails over darkness – signaling that death does not have the final word.
This Holy Week, my Administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government. We will never waver in safeguarding the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life, and protecting God in our public square.
As we focus on Christ’s redeeming sacrifice, we look to His love, humility, and obedience – even in life’s most difficult and uncertain moments. This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved Nation. We pray that America will remain a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the entire world, and we pray to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ’s eternal kingdom in Heaven.
May God bless you and your family during this special time of year and may He continue to bless the United States of America.”
God Bless President Trump! God Bless Arizona! God Bless America!

Trump 2.0! Are we feeling better about our country and our world? I sure am. “We are filled with hope for America with President Trump leading our country!”
Before Trump even took office, he had circulated his 10 Point Plan of what he would do when he took office. Have you seen it? I put it on a slide for you. He is acting very swiftly on his list and delivering as he promised during the campaign. Agree? He is overwhelming the Swamp with his initiatives and they are not happy! Somehow, the Democrats are on their back foot and keep pushing the very same agenda that led to their huge election loss. IMHO, their heads are spinning. I am hoping the Trump team keeps the Days of Thunder going!
And how about the Department of Government Efficiency? Otherwise known as DOGE. The DOGE clock is running. It is now at higher than $82T. A very smart group of young geniuses are working for Musk seeking out and finding the egregious list of spending by our government. The USAID list is truly unbelievable especially given it is taxpayer money spent for causes that undermine America and American values. We have placed a list on the tables. Check it out!
Did everyone get to hear the Inaugural address on January 20th? I thought it would be worth the time to go back to this very well written and delivered speech. It is worth quoting our President.
“From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again over the world. We will be the envy of every nation and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer. During every single day of the Trump administration, I will very simply, put America First.
Our sovereignty will be reclaimed. Our safety will be restored. The scales of justice will be rebalanced. The vicious, violent and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department and our government will end.
And our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous and free!
America will soon be greater, stronger, and far more exceptional than ever before.
I return to the presidency confident and optimistic that we are at the start of a thrilling new era of national success. A tide of change is sweeping the country, sunlight is pouring over the entire world, and America has the chance to seize the opportunity like never before. ……
As we gather today, our government confronts a crisis of trust. For many years, a radical and corrupt establishment has extracted power and wealth from our citizens while the pillars of our society lay broken and seemingly in complete disrepair.
We now have a government that cannot manage even a simple crisis….
It fails to protect our magnificent, law abiding American citizens but provides sanctuary and protection for dangerous criminals, many from prisons and mental institutions that have illegally entered our country from all over the world.
We have a government that has given unlimited funding to the defense of foreign borders but refused to defend American borders or, more importantly, its own people……..
My recent election is a mandate to completely and totally reverse a horrible betrayal and all of the many betrayals that have taken place and to give the people back their faith, their wealth, their democracy, and indeed, their freedom. From this moment on, America’s decline is over.
Over the past eight years, I have been tested and challenged more than any other president in our 250 year history and I’ve learned a lot along the way……Just a few months ago, and assassin’s bullet ripped through my ear. But, I felt then and believe even more so now that my life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to Make America Great Again…….
That is why each day under my administration of American Patriots, we will be working to meet every crisis with dignity and power and strength. We will move with purpose and speed to bring back hope, prosperity, safety and peace for citizens of every race, color and creed. For American citizens, January 20th, 2025 is Liberation Day! It is my hope that our recent presidential election will be remembered as the greatest and most consequential election in the history of our nation. ………
National unity is now returning to America and confidence and pride is soaring like never before. In everything we do, my administration will be inspired by a strong pursuit of excellence and unrelenting success. We will not forget our country, we will not forget our Constitution, and we will not forget our God! ……We will begin the complete restoration of America and the revolution of common sense……….
As a commander in chief, I have no higher responsibility than to defend our country from threats and invasions, and that is exactly what I am going to do. We will do it at a level that nobody has ever seen before……
I will direct all members of my cabinet to marshal the vast powers….to defeat what is record inflation and bring down costs and prices….
America will be a manufacturing nation once again, and we have something that no other manufacturing nation will ever have – the largest amount of oil and gas of any country. …We will end the Green New Deal and the electric vehicle mandate…..
I will …begin the overhaul of our trade system to protect American workers and families. ….
The American dream will soon be back and thriving like never before…..
Never again will the immense power of the state be weaponized to persecute political opponents….And we are going to bring back law and order to our cities. …We will build the strongest military the world has ever seen……
My proudest legacy will be that of a peacemaker and unifier. That is what I want to be peacemaker and unifier. …..
America will reclaim its rightful place as the greatest, most powerful, most respected nation on earth, inspiring the awe and admiration of the entire world…..Above all, my message to Americans today, is that it is time for us to once again act with courage, vigor, and the vitality of history’s greatest civilization. Ambition is the lifeblood of a great nation, and, right now, our nation is more ambitious than any other. There’s no nation like our nation.
Americans are explorers, builders, innovators, entrepreneurs and pioneers. The spirit of the frontier is written into our hearts. The call of the next great adventure resounds from within our souls…..
Americans pushed thousands of miles through a rugged land of untamed wilderness. They crossed deserts, scaled mountains, braved untold dangers, won the Wild West, ended slavery, rescued millions from tyranny, lifted billions from poverty, harnessed electricity, split the atom, launched mankind into the heavens and put the universe of human knowledge into the palm of the human hand. If we work together, there is nothing we cannot do and no dream we cannot achieve…..
I stand before you now as proof that you should never believe that something is impossible to do. In America, the impossible is what we do the best…….
From New York to Los Angeles, from Philadelphia to Phoenix, from Chicago to Miami, from Houston to….Washington D.C., our country was forged and built by the generations of patriots who gave everything they had for our rights and for our freedom….
We are one people, one family, and one glorious nation under God. So, to every parent who dreams for their child and every child who dreams for their future, I am with you, I will fight for you and I will win for you…..
We will be a nation like no other, full of compassion, courage and exceptionalism….
We will not be conquered, we will not be intimidated, we will not be broken and we will not fail. From this day on, the United States of America will be a free, sovereign and independent nation.
We will stand bravely, we will live proudly, we will dream boldly and nothing will stand in our way because we are Americans. The future is ours, and our Golden Age has just begun.”
God Bless President Trump! God Bless Arizona! God Bless America!
Happy New Year! Hard to believe the holidays have passed and we are on to new things: New Year, new U.S. House, new U.S. Senate, new Arizona House and Senate. And, by the Grace of God, a new President and new leaders for our great country! In 2 short days, our favorite President returns to the White House. Are we excited? I’m thinking that is a BIG, FAT YES! We have been blessed with an opportunity!
General Flynn writes a very eloquent article on December 2nd. I’d like to quote him and relay his very well said message.
“Our generation has produced few serious political leaders. That is our fault. We all own that.
A harsh critic observed that We - Who grew up in the era of John F Kennedy, have given way to a generation obsessed with finding the right school to raise our youth, pay off the mortgage, having two holidays a year and dinner parties. With sounding clever when slurping a glass of overpriced wine in a cheap restaurant.
It is said that we value consumption over sacrifice or service; feelings over substance; individual rights over responsibilities. That when we die, we look back and realize we created nothing. Stood for nothing. Pushed back against nothing. Took no risk. That the institutions we joined and loved rotted from below while we walked on the sunny upper decks enjoying our temporary self-importance.
As a result of this need to climb the consumption ladder, we select leaders that make us feel good rather than those that can actually lead. Where are the leaders who take risk in difficult times, keeping in mind the betterment of their community over their concerns for reelection? For far too long our “leaders” have lacked the ability to inspire through confidence, courage and endurance, leaving us wanting and on a circular path of diminishing progress.
We carry on about “democracy” yet do nothing with it. We no longer find true fellowship and camaraderie within our churches, not read our bible to our children. Instead, we obsess about insignificant issues such as social media and the appearance of perfection.
We gorge on sentimentality – sharing quotes of our founding fathers and others throughout history that left their imprints, while craving true words of wisdom and direction in these turbulent times. Yet, we are left with redundant messages of hope and change manufactured by speech writers.
As for the U.S. Government as a whole: I am not suited to what it has become. With the exception of a few, it is a cesspool of those who have made compromises for campaign financing and won on the basis of theatrics opposed to merit, determination and moral strength.
My views are no longer relevant to an Army that seeks to be something other than what it needs to be. The mission of fighting and winning our nation’s wars has been overshadowed by a bureaucratic system that’s lost hope of just how precious a human life is and favors an unceasing wealth forging war machine.
I don’t know what the answer is to all of this, or whether President Trump can turn the tides in four years. But what I do feel is that our generation is to blame. We haven’t fought hard enough, haven’t participated enough, haven’t done enough…and that applies to all of us.
The world is enamored by President Trump and the opportunity for a genuine leader to be placed in a position of epic power, as this has not happened in decades. He offers a vision of greatness built on hard work and endurance. Where success is only worth something because it isn’t guaranteed. He truly loves America, but he cannot restore American values on his own. As a free people, we must weigh in together alongside him and do our part.
We have been blessed with an opportunity. A brief moment in time to guide the future of our nation and we must seize this gift which has been given.
Our children must be taught how to think, not what to think. Our priorities need examination and renovation. This is the time to reinforce what it means to be a leader in the free world, and what we would risk to maintain the biblical position on the world’s stage.”
General Flynn is spot on!
Trump doesn’t view winning the election as a victory. He views enacting his America First agenda and doing it successfully and efficiently so that all Americans, when he leaves office, are grateful and appreciative that he brought some common sense to America. Now, we all must unite and move this country forward to an America we very much need and want!
God Bless President Trump! God Bless Arizona! God Bless America!
